My dad has a Z4 and was wanting my opinion about these wheels...I like 'em. Not to sure about owning staggered wheels though. Also, I highly doubt that they are 'authentic BMW wheels'. Anyone care to comment?

what is causing you to question the authenticity of said wheels?

Eh, I like the multi-spoke design on the Z4's better than a 5 spoke
clicky for hyuge pic (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v71/BimmerDawg/M%20Coop/DSC_0189.jpg?t=1172579787) that I believe YOU posted :D
I know those are HREs but there's gotta be a similar design of a cheaper brand.
As far as commenting on staggered wheels, I can't really do so as I have not had to buy new tires yet.
The price of 17 inch tires is MUCH cheaper than 18'' though, which is one of the main reasons I stayed w/ the 17''s
More under steer and more expensive b/c of the width..... but they look sexy :)

I just don't think that you can get 4 'real' bimmer wheels for $700...maybe you can, just not sure.

They are "authentic" look with BMW center caps, but I wouldn't worry about that if he's looking for a simple aesthetic upgrade.

I make alot of the BMW oem wheels. While I do not make that style I did blow the pic up and it appears to have the correct spoke identifiers on it. Although this is no promise they are not very close copies. If he has the wheels in the pic below I can not blame him for wanting different ones. I absolutely hate these wheels and the are heavy as hell, in addition to being hard on inserts.
