Or when the entire offense lines up on the ball, then stands and looks at the sidelines, does it remind you of a scene from Meerkat Manor?? :D :D

New offense looks promising, but I hope we can cut down on the level of schrades performed on the sidelines...

Almost reminds me of the time when I was playing in High School against the Georgia School for the Deaf... To call a play, they would beat out a number with a bass drum on the ground. If a play needed to be changed, they would pound rapidly, and then all would look to the coaches.

The Spastic Trio. But Meerkat Manor is an apt description as well.

I love the new offense. Love It. I cannot believe that we did that good with only 7 practices to put it in. Amazing.

Had a blast at the game. Dixon was sitting about 15 rows behind me and Lauren.

Eh, I cant say I love it yet. Granted, it's completely new, but IMO we didnt throw the ball down the field enough. I dont know if it's because they just wanted to keep it simple or what, but we can't just throw the ball 2 yards every time.

It did look somewhat promising though. Overall, the game was a sloppy mess. Can't really expect much more though due to circumstances.

I was glad to see that Burns got some playing time though. With a new offense, he's no longer behind Fields as far as experience goes since they both have to learn the new playbook. It should be a fun next season.

I was expecting it to go worse than it did (from a pure execution stand point) but they surprised me and did well given the amount of time they had to work on the new offense.

I was glad to see no hesitation in putting burns in from the get go. I think that the new spread offense is just begging for a QB like him and as matt said, I think that this new style offense demands a much more physical QB and burns is much better suited for it than Fields or Caudle but I still want to see one or both of them subbing in for plays the way Cox and Burns rotated in and out during the game.

Clemson just never seemed like they could figure out what Auburn was doing and I loved it.

Cox is in, will he throw it, hand it off, run it himself <- shocked me when he actually just hauled off and RAN there late in the game... then burns comes in, can hand it off or run it and be just as effective or come to find out, throw a bullet of a pass for a touchdown.

If this is just the tip of the iceberg, I think the next 3 years will be an amazing turn around for Auburn's offense.
