2007 aSpeed Awards - Results!

Here are the results of the voting! Sorry it took this long to get them up; I ended up a lot busier today at work than I thought I was going to be so I did not get a lot of time to work on prettying the results up and making them a static page that we can host anywhere without the database.

Winners in most categories <strike>will</strike> already have a special graphic in their PMs sometime over the weekend as we get them finished. Please save them to Photobucket or the like if you plan on using them in your sigs. At some point in the not to distant future I will need to clean out that directory. And if you leave them on there and link to it and I see it, I might ninja edit your award... :D I did not do one for every category as I ran out of source material for the images. If you want I can do one with a blank section in the center and we can add something to it later if you really want the award. It is fun, but time consuming.

I want to thank everybody for participating. It was a lot of fun to get working and watching everybody have fun with it. Thanks to Tom for the idea and the help in getting it looking and working right. Thanks to Adam for providing a list of people who have posted since January of '07, saving me a hour or two of copying, pasting, and editing to get a list of allowed users and for hosting this great board and community.

LATE EDIT: Actually, I think that is two separate threads. I think the EXGF thread by sleepergti86 was the one that won Best Non-Car. Really that was a fucked up category, I don't think it will be back next year or if it is it will be broken up into NSFW and SFW.

Notice to everybody:
Try not to stack your sig images to keep the size down. Just make sure there is not a new line (return) or a space between the [/img] between the two (or more) images.

Make the line with the img tags look like this:

Yeah that is who I was pointing that at, but you know I was being tactful. :D

The other idea is to use photoshop or the like to combine them into one image and post that. That will keep the image "together" and keeps the height from being too obtrusive.
