Ricemaster went with maxpsi to run a corvette and a transam. He failed, however, to lock his car when he left, and while he was gone we unhooked his distributor, IAC, and loosened one of the preasure pipes to mess with him. Oh yea, the mcgowans wrote in the carbon on his bumper too :) (tune me and mufflaz i believe). All in good fun, nothing that could damage anything. As with most jokes, when you're on the recieving end its not quite as humorus.. Btw, just as a market survey, who here hasn't had their car (or one of their cars at some point) messed with? I got fragged by the loose chargepipe once (also had the heat turned all the way up on me in the middle of the summer, lights on, seat all the way forward and radio up as loud as it would go). Its all in good fun :woo:

John, my car got screwed w/ during my stage 3 install......I made it abundantly clear that I didn't appreciate it and it never happened again. you were chuckling about it the whole time it was going on and remember I wasn't the only one messing with stuff. I did something similar to his gallant and he played it off after the fact, i figured the same thing would happen with the civic.. I wouldn't mess with someones car in such a way as to damage it, and i can understand people not wanting their stuff messed with. Same here. It doesn't matter to me if its something that can hurt it or not. Don't mess with my car if I'm not around.

1. If I didn't know who did it I could be thinking that something major is wrong.

2. If it was in an emergency I can get over some writing on the bumper, but the car not starting and me needing it for life/death purposes ASAP would not be cool.

Nothing was done that would harm the car in any way. While I am not advocating messing with other peoples cars, there is/was a pre-existing relationship between Kenny and John which indicated such playing around was both acceptable and expected. I think we all could sense that.

And if, in this case, it went too far for John's good humor and upset him, well then Kenny is now aware of that. However based on John's reactions to past jokes I don't think you can blame Kenny for doing what he did. It was all meant in good fun whether it was taken that way or not.

So stop coming down on Kenny about this, because that's extremely lame. It's like a mob mentality where everybody is shouting, "Burn the heathen!" and so somebody takes up a torch and lights the sucker on fire. You don't go back later and say, "Damn, what an ass-hole." Because at the time you were eager to see him burst into flames. Contrition is a perfectly acceptable attitude in this situation, though not one that I hold to. Regardless, slamming Kenny just doesn't make any sense.

What happened with my car didn't mean anything. That really doesn't bother me at all. What happened between myself and kenny was strictly between myself and kenny. it really is none of everyone elses buisness, and i dont want to hear this bullshit about people attacking kenny. Don't pull him into this as the bad guy, it's a simple conflict between two people. If you have something personal with kenny, take it up with him. but do not attack him and claim it in my defense.
