That reminds me of something really scary that happened at APR back when we had a Clayton dyno... One of the biggest reasons we bought a Dynapac instead of a roller dyno. Our old Clayton dyno looked like this:

Except we had a wider version to accomidate wider wheelbases, so our rollers stuck out further from most cars on either side.

One night, we had a local guy who raced SCCA Trans AM setup time to do some dyno work. He brought his ~8 year old son with him, complete with safety googles and ear protection. We strapped the car down, and proceeded to do a few runs...

RIGHT after the end of one fourth gear run, while the car is just beginning to slow down, the guys son begins to run from the front of the car to the back and jumps OVER the rollers that are going probably ~120mph. We all about fainted, thinking we were about to see a "Will it Blend" commerical with a kid...

Needless to say as soon as it was safe, his dad got out of the car and proceeded to half beat/half hug his son... After that incident, I don't think that we dynoed anyone elses car and made the dyno for internal use only.

With all those retards standing around the car it would have funny as hell if the straps broke and the car smashed a few people. Geet a little more stupid out of the gene pool.
