I got a new toy today. Now instead of playing on the street with a car I'm moving to the water. I bought a 98 Sea Doo Sportster Jet boat. pretty phat. once I buy a new charger for my digital camera I'll post some pictures. It's phat though.

What's up with the bug. You said you were gonna have it built for spring break?

You bought the boat YOURSELF??????

personally i think boats are gay. you have to make it a day trip to ride it unless you live next to the water.

I really want a ducati. Maybe i can talk daddy in to selling my dirtbike and get me one.

yes i did buy the boat myself. i dont think boats are stupid at all. i have a relative with a lake house on lake martin. i can dock it there and go up there whenever. it isnt that far away.

the bug got a bit behind schedule. once that it became apparent that it wasnt going to be ready by spring break i wasnt in as big as a hurry. i took my time paying for the parts and then kept going back and forth with how to tune it. instead of a standalone which i wanted, I'm putting the stock injectors back in the stock fuel rail and the lower intake manifold is being plumbed right now for another set of injectors. the 310's are gonna go in there and be controlled by a greddy rebic IV. The rebic works off of a map sensor so I am introducing one of those to the engine. Basically what this will do is make it so that the extra injectors kick in under boost without ruining my fuel economy when im not under load. Should be able to dial it in very well. Plus this saves me from having to buy new 550cc injectors because the 310's plus the stock ones are pretty close to 550. it's like 520 or so but pretty close.

anyways the engine is done and is on a truck to me somewhere between here and california. so whenever it gets here that'll be done. the clutch, flywheel, rebic, and my lower intake manifold will be a few days behind the engine. all in all it'll be done a few days after i get all the parts which shouldnt be too long.
