Anyone remember that ship load of mazdas that almost sank?
Auto makers usually try to find the best way to build new vehicles. These days, Mazda Motor Corp. is busy figuring out how to most efficiently destroy them.
It would be nice to get a cheap Mazda Speed 6 /MX5 out of the lot :-/

They ARE perfect. However because of "liability" reasons if someone wrecks or an air bag fails they can always blame the company. I wouldnt care at all tho...mmm Mazda speed Miata would be soo hawt

They were perfect. None of the cars were damaged in the tilt; they all were chained in place and stayed that way during the time the ship was listing. It sucks but it is a huge CYA for Mazda. Better to destroy and recycle the materials than put out 4000 cars that come in with some strange problem because they sat around for a couple of months tilted to one side.
I would have liked to see them made unsellable and given out to vocational schools. But who knows the schools could have stripped the parts and sold them creating more problems for Mazda.
Good move on their part. Stupid but good if that is even possible.
