My front tires will need to be replaced soon and I can't afford the goodyear eagle f1's that are on it. Can anyone recommend a good, cheaper runflat for my car? I've looked on tirerack and such but would still like some advice. My rear tires still have a lot of tread left on them so it'll be a while before I have to replace them.

I'm considering these

Do not fucking run runflats, they are expensive, ride harsh, and are heavier then a cady. Go buy regular tires and be faster, handle better, spend less, and ride nicer.:bang:

This, as well as please narrow up your sig pic or stack them up. :D

I concur. Get some KDW2s.

ive always liked the KDW2s. i hate not having the security of a runflat though since i dont have a spare and my wheels are pretty hard to find...but now that i think about it, i haven't had a flat in 8 years of driving.

Ok, now that you have decided to buy a non run flat tire...what kind are you looking for. All round performance, summer performance...?

I'm looking for all around performance. something thats good for a daily driver that is driven like a grandpa is driving it untill i randomly push it through a turn or something. the good year eagles that are on it are pretty hard and ive put 20000 miles on them so far. the fronts will last another 5-10 (which i will probably put on them in the next 3 months with how much i drive) and the rears will probably last another year. I dont care that much about ride comfort, and I'll never do any kind of racing other than in a strait line (at least untill i upgrade the brakes). I guess thats a long winded way of saying that I want something that will last a while that will still perform nicely when I want them to.

So you want a non run flat tire? I can get you a price on them. Just let me know what brand.

Just put those Kumho (Cum Ho's) on it like Greg had. He has the bad ass BF goodriches now and I think he likes them a whole lot but I feel like they cost a arm.09...or was it a leg.97.

I have been reading alot of positive stuff about the Kumho Ecsta SPT, and I think I have settled with them (just need a little more money now). It's a max performance summer tire that has good ratings on tire rack and its pretty cheap.

I think some of you guys have had MX's, but has anyone here had any experience with this particular tire? IIRC, Phil was the one who told me about them, not sure though.
