Secret agent man

I got a bogus paypal email asking me to fill in my cc info into this form that was included in the email. I knew it was a scam so i did a little figuring out and found where all the cc info was being stored. People were giving their CC info, exp date, and even ATM pin # out!!

Long story short i was on the phone with the FBI and even the US secret service yesterday to try and figure out who the guy is. I noticed the guy's webspace is down, but i havent gotten any correspondences today nor any $10000000000 reward :wink:

i heard about this guy. i saw this on another board. seems he has sent out thousands of these. i haven't got one yet.

It's not just one guy

Once a scam is successful once people catch on and everyone starts doing it

I've gotten about 6 or 7 different ones

Most originate from over-seas (Asia, India, Pakistan)

So unless the CIA wants to get involved and "terminate" the ones sending the emails there aint much the FBI or USSS can do about it...

Just click the delete button and laugh at the ones that fill out those stupid forms

I got a scam email about a guy from africa trying to buy my car. he wanted to send me a check for 9k and i give him my car and the difference. THen someone would come pick my car up, and i would be out of my car and the money.
