so my motor in the mustang took a dump on me so what should i put in it next? Actually my valve spring from comp failed and a valve slapped the shit out of the piston. But it ran o so good before it went. so 370CID iron block or 408CID iron block? i don' want to go FI just a lot of nitrous. What should i do?

which is also generally a rule with nitrous anyway.

i just don't know what i want. i want high compression and a healthy shot or 2. but i am limited by what my tranny and rearend will hold. so a 408 with 300 should make 700 through a unlocked cnvertor.

i want to do it on the cheap side. i already have all the nitrous stuff i need and injectors big enough for a radical 408 or even 427. but not big enough for a "small turbo" on a 408. plus my fuel pump is only good for 1000 NA and 800 FI. and my tranny is only good for 800hp but the rear axle would break before that

Just squeeze as many cubes as possible out of the LSX setup you have. Build for torque (you already know this I'm sure). And pack the car with more nitrous than a dentist's office.

Build a 14:1 Compression 346 that will twist to 8K.

i don't know what is next maybe a 416 to keep weight down with an aluminum block, but a 346 spinning to 8k would be wild. cuz my 10.6:1 346 spinning to 6200 was very fast with a small shot
